Terms and Conditions – Policies and Procedures Packages
1. Introduction
​
This document sets out Paisley Training and Consultancy’s Terms and Conditions relating to the ordering and provision of Policies and Procedures Packages.
​
Paisley Training and Consultancy provides Policies and Procedures for CQC Registered Adult Social Care Services that provide Domiciliary Care, Residential Care or Supported Living.
2. Definitions
​
Client - an individual or organisation purchasing a Policies and Procedures Package from Paisley Training and Consultancy.
​
Policies and Procedures Package – a set of care Policies and Procedures that are provided by Paisley Training and Consultancy.
​
Policies and Procedures Updates – updated Policies issued when there are changes to legislation and regulations. Clients will receive updates for 12 months from the date of purchase of the Policies and Procedures Package.
​
Fees – the cost for the Policies and Procedures to be paid by the client by invoice or via Paisley Training and Consultancy website store. Paisley Training and Consultancy does not accept payment by cheques.
​
Policy Information Form – a form sent to clients after purchasing a Policies and Procedures Package to request the information to be added to the Policy documents.
​
Logo – the logo of the service/organisation purchasing Policies and Procedures.
​
Policy Platform – the online self-service system used by Paisley Training and Consultancy to share clients’ Policies and Procedures. Clients will generate a password to access the platform and to view and download their Policy documents.
​
User Account – the account set up to enable a client to access their Policies and Procedures.

3. Policies and Procedures Purchases and Payments
​
Paisley Training and Consultancy will only provide Policies and Procedures to organisation’s that are Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered adult social care services. CQC registration status will be checked at the time of purchase. Orders from individuals or organisations not registered with the CQC will be cancelled.
​
All Policies and Procedures prices are published on Paisley Training and Consultancy’s website.
​
Paisley Training and Consultancy reserves the right to review and change Policies and Procedures prices.
​
Purchases of Policies and Procedures can be made by the website shop, email or telephone.
​
Clients purchasing via Paisley Training and Consultancy online store will receive an automated order confirmation at the time of purchase.
​
Clients opting to make payment by invoice are required to make the full payment by BACS within 7 days of receiving the invoice, prior to the Policies and Procedures being provided to them. Policies and Procedures orders are provisional until payment is received. If payment is not received by the due date the order will be cancelled.
4. Policies and Procedures Information
​
When payment for a Policies and Procedures Package is received, the client will be sent an email with a link to an online Policy Information Form. The client is required to provide:

The logo to add to the Policies and Procedures – only one logo will be added

The name of the service as it is to appear on the Policies and Procedures

The name and contact details of the Registered Manager

The name and contact details of the Nominated Individual

The name and contact details of the Safeguarding Lead

Safeguarding information and contact details for the Local Authorities in which the client provide services

The client is responsible for providing the correct information on the Policy Information Form. The information provided on the form will be used exactly as it is stated to generate the Policy and Procedure documents. Paisley Training and Consultancy will not be responsible for spelling errors, missing information or incorrect information provided by the client.
​
In the event of a client requesting that the information on Policies and Procedures be changed due to incorrect information being stated on the Policy Information Form, an administration fee of £100 will be payable.
5. Policies and Procedures Access and Policy Platform
​
After the client has completed the Policy Information Form, Paisley Training and Consultancy will email a link to the client to access the Policy documents within 7 working days.
​
Policies and Procedures are accessed electronically on Paisley Training and Consultancy’s Policy Platform. Clients are required to set a password for their user account on the Policy Platform.
​
Only a maximum of three user accounts can be allocated per organisation. Paisley Training and Consultancy offers two levels of user access; these are full administrator access (full access to all the available documents assigned to your administration account) and limited access (read only access to policy documents only). Any requests to add or remove user accounts must the main account holder; these will be actioned within seven days.
​
Clients can manage their account and reset their password on the self-service Policy Platform. In the event of a client requiring technical support to access the Policy Platform, or to reset passwords, they should contact Paisley Training and Consultancy by email, via the website contact form or telephone. Paisley Training and Consultancy will respond to requests for technical support within seven days.
​
The client is responsible for ensuring that their staff using the platform have the required IT skills to do this. Paisley Training and Consultancy cannot provide IT use training and support for clients or their staff.
​​
Access to the Policy Platform is provided solely for the purpose of viewing and downloading the policies and procedures supplied by Paisley Training and Consultancy. The addition of any client-supplied or third-party documents is excluded.
​
Clients are able to view and download their Policies and Procedures for 12 months from date of purchase. After 12 months access to the Policy Platform will end.
​
Clients will have the option to purchase a new Policy and Procedure Package at the end of the 12 month period.
6. Policies and Procedures Updates
​
Clients will receive updates for 12 months from the date of purchase of the Policies and Procedures Package. Updates will be provided in the event of changes to legislation and regulations, or new legislation being implemented.
​
Policy updates will be provided within 3 months of the implementation of changes. The new Policies and Procedures will be available on the Policy Platform for the client to access.
​
Clients will receive a quarterly newsletter with details of Policies and Procedures Updates.
​
Policies and Procedures are provided to comply with Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements for Adult Social Care services. We do not provide policies to meet the specific requirements of organisations other than the CQC. It is the responsibility of the client to keep the Policies and Procedures up to date after purchase and to amend the Policies and Procedures to reflect the practice at the client’s service.

All Policies and Procedures, to the best of our knowledge, are accurate and are a current reflection of legislation and regulatory requirements at the time of purchase.
7. Returns
Clients ordering Policies and Procedures are responsible for ordering the correct Policies and Procedures for their service type.
Once Policies and Procedures have been provided to the client, returns cannot be accepted.
8. Intellectual Property and Copyright
​
Paisley Training and Consultancy are not able to sell Policies and Procedures to training and consultancy organisations/individuals or software companies.
​
Paisley Training and Consultancy reserve the right to decline Policies and Procedures orders from organisations/individuals who we suspect are attempting to obtain intellectual property for commercial gain.
​
All Policies and Procedures remain the intellectual property of Paisley Training and Consultancy.
​
Policies and Procedures purchased are for the sole use of the organisation purchasing and must not be shared with other organisations/individuals. This includes both digital and paper copies.
